Frequently Asked Questions

  • Structured doggy daycare refers to a type of dog daycare that follows a well-organized routine and set of activities designed to provide mental stimulation and social interaction. We provide a schedule to ensure a balance between playtime, rest, and training, aiming to create a positive and controlled environment for the dogs.

Here, your dog learns proper social behavior under professional guidance, with a focus on preventing behaviors like mounting, bullying or excessive play. We strongly advocate for each and every dog in our daycare regardless of the size or breed. The schedule is designed to give dogs downtime, preventing overstimulation and unwanted behaviors like excessive barking or jumping.

This type of daycare can be particularly beneficial for dogs that thrive on routine, need mental stimulation, require behavioral guidance, or benefit from supervised social interaction. It aims to create a safe and enriching environment where dogs can learn, play, and socialize while under the supervision of trained staff.

  • We welcome puppies as young as 8 weeks old, provided they have received all their age-appropriate vaccinations. Your pup's health and safety are our top priorities, so ensuring they're up to date with vaccines helps create a secure environment for all our furry guests. Once your young pup has received the necessary vaccinations, they're ready to join in the fun and socialization at our daycare!

  • To ensure a safe and healthy environment for all our furry friends, we require the following:

    • Up-to-date core vaccinations, including DA2PP, Leptosirosis and Rabies.

    • Current bordetella vaccination. This isn't automatically included in annual vaccines, so please request it specifically during your vet visit.

    • Consistent use of oral or topical flea and tick prevention throughout the year.

    • For unfixed female dogs, we kindly ask that they stay home during their cycle until it's completed.

These requirements help maintain the well-being of all dogs at our daycare, fostering a secure and enjoyable environment for everyone to socialize and have fun!

Ready to get started? Click the "Book Now" button and select "First Visit Assessment" to schedule your dog's first day at daycare. You can upload any necessary files and fill out our required questionnaire to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for your furry friend.

  • Our first visit assessment is a comprehensive evaluation that allows us to assess various aspects of your dog's behaviour and temperament in our facility. During this assessment, we observe how your dog reacts to:

    • New environments, people, and other dogs

    • Their confidence and social skills

    • Crate and leash manners

    • Overall temperament and how they adapt to our facility's routine

This assessment serves two purposes: it helps us determine if your dog is a good fit for our facility and allows us to recommend any additional training if needed. Your dog will attend for a full daycare day, with drop-off available between 7 am and 9 am and pick-up between 3 pm and 6 pm. The cost for this assessment is $55 plus HST. It's a valuable step in ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for your furry friend at our daycare.

  • • We ask that all dogs come with a collar/harness and a leash for their safety and ease of handling during their stay.

    • If your dog requires lunch, you're welcome to bring their food along. Additionally, feel free to bring any specific treats your dog loves, especially if they have allergies or dietary restrictions. Ensuring your dog's comfort and dietary needs is important to us during their time at daycare.

  • Unfortunately, we do not permit clients to enter beyond our reception area. This policy is in place for the safety and well-being of all the dogs in our care. Many of our canine guests may have reactive or aggressive tendencies toward strangers, and allowing clients to wander through the facility can cause stress and overwhelm for these dogs. Maintaining a calm and controlled environment is crucial to ensure the comfort of the dogs in our care. We kindly ask that you respect this policy and refrain from proceeding past the reception area. Your cooperation helps us create a peaceful atmosphere for the dogs under our care.
